CrossFit Classes

After you graduate from our Foundations program, you can get the best of group and one-on-one training at DT School of Fitness. With our unique Hybrid program everyone gets access to both group classes and personal training. Your relationship with your Coach will be your best tool and asset toward reaching your fitness goals, whether aesthetic or performance-based, or both. The atmosphere of group classes can motivate you on tough days where you need an extra little push to bring your best. With the Hybrid program, tap in to our amazing community, your way. You and your Coach For Life work together to design your own membership program with scheduled personal training and group sessions for the duration of your membership.

What to Expect

Workouts can be adjusted in weight, intensity, and certain mechanics in order to scale to the experience and fitness levels of any individual, be it a total fitness beginner or elite competitive CrossFitter. This is the reason this program gets acclaim from military personnel, professional athletes, soccer Moms, Dads and grandparents alike.

All of our CrossFit Group Classes are coach-led and follow a planned progression roughly 60 minutes in duration and follow this basic structure:

The overwhelming majority of our members take two to four CrossFit classes a week and thrive in the group dynamic.  Class provides direction, accountability, and motivation, and we make it fun! Every session is led by one of our professional Coaches and consists of the following segments:

*Warmup: We get you moving, slowly at first and then a little faster.  This is to warm up your joints, muscles, and to break a bit of a sweat.

*Skill work: We teach and practice any new movements that we’ll be performing during that day’s workout.

*Strength: We lift weights, usually prime barbell movements such as the squat, press, deadlift, and clean.  We make sure you are using weights that are challenging but doable. We want you to win every session.

*Conditioning: We pick a handful of exercises and move through them quickly so that you get your sweat going, are breathing a little heavy, and feel like you’ve worked your butt off.

By the end of the hour you will wonder how you got all that done and when you can come back.
